Reuters held a poll of 26 economists during this week as all 26 economists surveyed agreed the BOJ would keep its policy unchanged tomorrow.
As for when the Bank of Japan may end negative interest rates and change its easy policy, the majority now believe that will happen sometime in 2024.
This opinion is supported by 13 out of 25 economists, representing 52%, up from nearly 41% in the August poll.
As for yield curve control, 21 of 27 economists say that will happen by the end of next year.
Where Barclays says the BOJ will remove control of the yield curve next October citing that the YCC has become a formality issue and is likely to be scrapped in October, when the BOJ publishes its quarterly forecast report.
