Gold prices in Egypt Today, Monday, October 14, 2024

Gold prices rose globally during today's trading on Monday, October 14 towards the levels of 2665 dollars per ounce, continuing its gains since the end of last week after the US inflation data.

Gold is expected to consolidate more and more before the US elections and the decision of the Federal Open Market Committee next month.

There is still a chance for the precious metal to set another record this year as geopolitical tensions in the Middle East increase, despite the release of Chinese inflation data and uncertainty about stimulus measures that pose additional headwinds for gold demand.

On the other hand, gold prices rose in Egypt Today, Monday, where the price of the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt is trading near the levels of 3595 pounds.

Also, 24-karat gold rose today to levels of 4109 pounds, and 18-karat gold recorded levels of 3081 pounds per gram.

Also, the dollar rate in Egypt inside the official banks today did not move much and is still trading at levels of 48.62 pounds per dollar, with a slight increase in the dollar rate in the parallel market inside Egypt, which recorded levels of 48.88 pounds per dollar.
