World gold prices rose slightly during today's trading on Wednesday to record levels of 2395 dollars per ounce, but gold prices locally in Egypt fell by almost 40 pounds per gram from yesterday, when the price of a gram reached 3370 pounds, where the price of the 21st caliber yellow metal recorded in the middle of trading on Wednesday about 3330 pounds to buy, and almost 3310 pounds in case of sale.
Gold declined despite the stability of the dollar price in most Egyptian banks with slight declines, as its price stabilized between 49.15 to 49.25 pounds per dollar, and the dollar price in the parallel market fell to the levels of 49.50 dollars after it had exceeded the barrier of 50 dollars this week.
