Nvidia Surprises Markets with Record Results and Forecasts Exceeding Wall Street Expectations
Nvidia shares surged 7.4% in premarket trading after the company announced record-breaking second-quarter results that exceeded analysts' expectations. Revenue jumped 106% to $96.2 billion, and earnings per share reached $2.22.
The company also projected revenue of approximately $108 billion for the third quarter, driven by continued strong demand for artificial intelligence, particularly following its acquisition of approximately two million GPUs from AWS.
Nvidia anticipates robust revenue growth going forward and returned $26 billion to shareholders through dividends and share buybacks, further bolstering investor confidence and fueling the stock's upward trajectory.
