World gold prices rose slightly during today's trading to record levels of 2415 dollars per ounce, after the price of an ounce reached yesterday the lowest levels of 2370 dollars, but gold rebounded quickly to trade around the levels of 2400 dollars per ounce.
Gold prices also rose slightly locally in Egypt with the stabilization of the dollar exchange rate against the pound in Egyptian banks, to record the price of the highest traded 21 carat gold gram in Egypt at levels of 3360 pounds per gram.
The dollar price in most Egyptian banks has stabilized from 4920 to 49.30 pounds per dollar, and the dollar price in the parallel market has fallen to 49.55 dollars.
