Barclays Downgrades Dell, HPE, and NetApp to "Neutral"

Ratings Downgraded for Dell and Enterprise Server Stocks Following Strong Gains

Barclays has downgraded shares of Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and NetApp to "Equal-Weight," citing valuations that have become excessive relative to growth prospects, alongside a lack of significant new developments in the enterprise AI sector. This decision follows a rally in the sector's stocks, which rose by an average of approximately 140% this year, compared to a 14% gain for the S&P 500 index.

Despite Dell's success in boosting AI server revenue and improving operational efficiency, Barclays anticipates a slowdown in growth over the next two years as memory prices stabilize or decline—even as opportunities for AI server revenue growth persist.
