Will the European Central Bank start cutting interest next June?

The latest Bloomberg poll showed that economists expect the ECB to start cutting interest rates next June at a rate of once every three months, reaching 2.25% by late 2025 from the current 4%.

This is in line with market expectations and the ECB is likely to start cutting interest rates before the Fed.

The markets are currently pricing in cuts of 90 basis points from the ECB this year compared to 70 basis points from the Fed.
