The US dollar stabilizes at the beginning of the week

The dollar is struggling to recover amid concerns about US growth

The US Dollar Index stabilized on Monday around the levels of 103.75, as the index is still trading near its 5-month lows, and the trade uncertainty and growing economic concerns in the US also affected the currency.

The US dollar is trading steadily as it seeks to recover significantly after the recent wave of selling on the back of concerns about weak US economic growth.

Data released last Friday showed that US consumer confidence fell to its lowest level in more than two years, and inflation expectations rose significantly, as the escalating tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump increase economic concerns more and more.

Investors are waiting for US retail sales data on Monday, and the markets are also looking forward to the Federal Reserve's decision on monetary policy next Wednesday, where it is expected to keep interest rates unchanged.

On the other hand, the euro tried to climb today after Germany agreed to a financial agreement that will boost defense spending and revive growth in the largest European economy.
