South Korea imports about 11.3 million tons of crude oil in October

Preliminary data from South Korea's customs agency revealed on Thursday, November 14, that the Asian country imported about 11.3 million tons of crude oil in October, the same volume of crude imports in October 2023.

The data showed that South Korea, which is the fifth largest buyer of crude oil in the world, did not import any crude oil from Iran during the past month, according to Reuters.
The state-owned Korea National Oil Company is expected to publish the final data for the crude oil imported by the country during October later in November.

KNOC's data is the industry standard for oil imports made by South Korea.
