Nvidia shares rise after new partnership announcement
Technology and artificial intelligence giant Nvidia announced
its partnership with OpenAI, which sent the company's shares
up about 1.7% on Monday.
The company stated that the agreement calls for
the deployment of 10 gigawatts of the company's systems
for the next generation of artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure,
in addition to investing more than $100 billion in OpenAI.
The first gigawatts of the company's systems are expected to be deployed
during the second half of next year, in 2026.
This partnership is expected to include improvements to the joint
roadmaps for OpenAI's model and the operation
of the next generation of AI.
