Gold Price in Egypt Today, Monday, October 27, 2025
Global Gold Price
Gold prices fell to $4,040 per ounce at the start of trading today, Monday, continuing the decline that began last week, as progress in US-China trade talks dampened demand for safe-haven assets.
Top negotiators from both sides reached a preliminary consensus after two days of discussions in Malaysia, which included export controls, agricultural trade, and shipping tariffs.
This now paves the way for Presidents Donald Trump and Xi Jinping to conclude an agreement during their meeting in South Korea later this week.
Meanwhile, market focus shifts to central bank decisions this week, with policy announcements awaited from the Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank, and the Bank of Japan.
The Fed is widely expected to cut interest rates by 25 basis points following weaker-than-expected CPI data last week, while both the European Central Bank and the Bank of Japan are likely to hold rates steady.
