The Nikkei index closed higher on Tuesday.

Japanese stocks closed higher on Tuesday, 

with gains across several sectors.

The paper and technology sectors were among the top performers.

The leading blue-chip stocks that rose by the end of trading were:

SoftBank shares up 4%

Sony Corp shares up 0.5%

The Nikkei index also rose by 0.60%.

Regarding the analysis of the Nikkei index:

The index continues to move within a narrow sideways range on the 4-hour timeframe.

Currently, indications point to accumulation.

Therefore, we expect to see an upward move in the index soon,

especially if it breaks through and closes above the 51,361 level.

In that case, we expect to see a rise again to the 52,400 level.
