Japanese stocks closed lower on Tuesday, with the Nikkei index declining across several sectors. Transportation and telecommunications were among the hardest hit.
Among the leading stocks that saw significant declines were Nintendo Co. Ltd., down 8.5%; NH Foods Ltd., down 7.5%; and SoftBank Group Corp., down 6.4%.
The Nikkei index itself fell by 0.50%.
On the other hand, Konami Corp. was the top performer, rising 10.2%.
The Nikkei
The Nikkei index continues its strong upward trend, reaching levels of 63,792, with significant overbought conditions on the daily timeframe. The forecast still points to a continuation of the upward trend in the long term. However, some corrections are expected if reversal signals appear, which have already begun to appear. But in the event of a correction, the focus will be on buying operations, as we mentioned in the weekly analysis video.
