Japan's Nikkei Index Falls Sharply at the Close of Tuesday's Trading

 

Japanese stocks closed sharply lower on Tuesday, 

with losses across several sectors.

The transportation and communications sector was among the hardest hit.

The leading stocks that declined by the end of trading were:

Yaskawa Electric Corp., down 7.1%

Fujikura Ltd., down 6.7%

Japan Exchange Group Inc., down 6.3%

The Nikkei index itself fell by 1.46%.

The index fell today to a low of 49,381.

However, the outlook remains bullish in the long term.

The index is still in an upward trend, and the outlook remains bullish

in the long term, as long as it does not break below the previously identified buying levels.

The index is targeting a rise to previous peak levels,

which are near the 52658 level.
