The Nikkei index declined at the close of trading on Friday.
Japanese stocks closed sharply lower on Friday, with losses across several sectors, most notably transportation and paper.
Among the leading stocks that fell were Nexon Co Ltd, down 16.3%, Inpex Corp, down 13.2%, and Rakuten Inc, down 10.6%.
The Nikkei index itself fell by 1.24%.
On the other hand, Citizen Watch Co. was the top performer, rising 14.3%.

Regarding the analysis of the Nikkei index, despite closing lower, it rose to 57,553 points earlier in the day. Based on current price action, the index may continue its upward trend, as we previously noted in our weekly analysis video.
Generally, the indicator remains a buy signal on any dip, and the demand zones around 51940 are still considered strong buying areas. It is preferable to focus on buying if any price action appears that supports buying on lower timeframes and to avoid any selling activity.
