Japanese stocks close lower at the end of Thursday trading

Tokyo stocks decline at the end of trading

 

Japanese stocks suffered losses across several sectors on Thursday.

This led to stocks ending trading on Thursday in negative territory,

 with the most notable sectors reporting losses.

Transportation and communications were among the sectors.

The most notable leading stocks reporting losses today were:

Nikon Corp. shares fell 5.2%.

Omron Corp. shares fell 5.1%.

Tokyo Electric Power shares fell 5%.

The Nikkei also fell 0.37% today.

As for stocks that posted gains at the end of trading:

Rakuten Inc. shares rose 3.2%.

Hoya Corp shares rose 3.1%.


Regarding the Nikkei Index analysis

 

The index is still moving in a strong general upward trend.

Currently, the index is expected to test the demand zones

corresponding to the uptrend at the 38,844 levels.

From there, it is expected to rise to targets of 39,700 and 40,700.

However, if the demand zones and the uptrend are broken,

the analysis fails, and a continued decline is expected.
