The new Japanese prime minister in Japan Shigeru Ishiba said on Monday that the general elections in Japan will be held on October 27 after the dissolution of the House of Representatives, meaning that the parliament will be dissolved starting from October 9.
The new Japanese prime minister was elected last Friday, defeating Japan's Economic Security Minister Sanae Takaichi, in the last round of voting, and Ishiba is scheduled to be sworn in as prime minister tomorrow and replace Kishida.
He is expected to reorganize the ministerial posts before this early election.
