The price of gold in Egypt Today, Wednesday, September 17, 2025
The global price of gold
Gold prices fell today near the levels of 3,665 dollars per ounce due to profit-taking pressures and a slightly higher US dollar, but they are still close to historical highs ahead of the federal monetary policy decision later on Wednesday.
We expect that only some corrections will be made before returning to complete the ascent again and break through the historical peaks.
Investors expect that the US central bank will reduce interest rates by 25 basis points, but the focus will be on the Fed's new points chart, and Fed Chairman Jerome Powell's statements to anticipate the pace of monetary easing in the future.
