Global Gold Price
Gold prices rose more than 1% on Wednesday, as a slightly weaker US dollar and increased investor risk aversion boosted demand.
Gold prices are now trading near $3,975 per ounce.
Gold prices are up about 52% this year, reaching an all-time high of $4,381 on October 20. USD on October 20.
European stocks fell to a two-week low, as strong equity valuations continued to worry investors globally.
The recent shift towards risk aversion in financial markets, due to growing concerns over stock market valuations, is helping gold to stabilize from its record lows, and the dollar's pause is also providing support, although the private sector jobs data released now may push the dollar a bit higher for the time being.
Gold Price in Egypt
Gold prices in Egypt rose on Wednesday, with the highest traded 21-carat gold in Egypt now trading at EGP 5305.
The price of 24-carat gold in Egypt recorded EGP 6063, while 18-carat gold is trading at EGP 4547 per gram.
On the other hand, the price of the goldsmith's dollar fell today to 47.40 pounds, although the dollar price inside the official banks in Egypt rose to 47.58 pounds, and the dollar price on the black market also rose to 47.83 pounds.
