The global price of gold

Gold prices continue to rise, recording an all-time high on Tuesday, supported by expectations that the Federal Reserve will make additional cuts to interest rates this year, gold prices are currently at levels of 3,790 dollars per ounce, we can now see some correction as profit-taking after approaching psychological resistance levels of 3,800 dollars per ounce.

The price of gold has risen by 43.5% this year, driven by strong demand for safe havens, ETF inflows, a weaker dollar, and central banks continuing to diversify their investments away from the dollar.

On the other hand, traders are waiting for Fed Chairman Jerome Powell's speech today to find out more political indicators, and we are also waiting for Friday's personal consumer spending data in the United States, which may strengthen the argument for additional monetary stimulus.
