Gold Price in Egypt Today, Thursday, November 27, 2025
Global Gold Price
Gold prices remained stable today, Thursday, near their highest levels in two weeks, supported by growing expectations that the US Federal Reserve will cut interest rates in December.
Confidence in lower interest rates has increased with the emergence of Kevin Hassett, President Trump's chief economic advisor and known for his dovish stance, as a leading candidate to head the Federal Reserve.
CME FedWatch data also showed that traders now estimate the probability of an interest rate cut next month at 85%, compared to just 30% the previous week.
Gold, which does not offer interest, tends to perform well in a low interest rate environment.
