The price of gold in Egypt Today, Friday, September 19, 2025
The global price of gold
Gold prices rose during trading on Friday near the levels of 3,650 dollars per ounce, after declines over the previous two days due to the impact of the strong US dollar and cautious optimism about the Fed's policy outlook.
The Fed's tone on future interest rate cuts was less pessimistic than expected after the end of the September meeting.
However, the precious metal is still up by almost 10% this month and is expected to continue to benefit from expected US interest rate cuts and unstable geopolitical conditions, as well as strong purchases from central banks and ETF inflows.
