Gold prices in Egypt Today, Wednesday, October 30, 2024

Gold prices rose globally on Wednesday, October 30, near the levels of 2790 dollars per ounce, setting a new record today, as markets focus on a set of US economic data to be released this week.

The most important key data this week are inflation in personal consumption expenditures, advance estimates of GDP for the third quarter, payroll figures, ahead of the presidential election and the Fed's monetary policy decision next week, and today will be our date with growth data and private sector jobs datap.

Today, the markets have priced in a 99% probability of a 25 basis point cut in the federal funds rate.

On the other hand, gold prices rose in Egypt Today, Wednesday, where the price of the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt is trading near the levels of 3775 pounds.

The price of 24-karat gold also rose today to levels of 4314 pounds, and 18-karat gold recorded levels of 3236 pounds per gram.

The dollar price in Egypt also rose slightly inside the official banks today to trade near the levels of 48.77 pounds, with the dollar price also rising in the parallel market inside Egypt to the levels of 49.02 pounds.
