Gold continues its gains amid uncertainty about Trump's tariffs, as it is now trading near the levels of 3030 dollars per ounce.
The price of gold this year, traditionally seen as a hedge against uncertainty and inflation, rose by more than 15% before the end of the first quarter of the year and reached a historical peak of 3,057 dollars per ounce during last week's trading.
The markets are also waiting this week for growth data to be released tomorrow and then Personal Consumption Expenditures data to be released on Friday.
Gold prices are expected to remain supported above the key psychological level at USD 3,000, as traders are likely to view any declines as good buying opportunities.

Gold prices rose in Egypt on Wednesday,with the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt at levels of 4285 pounds.
The price of 24-carat gold in Egypt also recorded levels of 4897 pounds, while 18-carat gold is trading at levels of 3663 pounds per gram.
The price of the goldsmith dollar in Egypt is also trading today at the levels of 50.30 pounds, and the dollar price inside the official banks in Egypt Today fell to the levels of 50.63 pounds, with the decline of the dollar price on the black market inside Egypt to the levels of 50.88 pounds.
