The global price of gold
Gold prices rose on Wednesday towards the levels of 3,345 dollars per ounce, as the market continues to monitor the trade talks between the United States and China.
Futures also rose by 0.5% to 3,360. 40 dollars per ounce, and we still expect further upside.
The negotiators did not disclose specific details of the framework, which has kept uncertainty in the market, and the framework still requires the approval of President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Investors are also now looking to the US inflation report due later today for clues on the economic impact of the recent tariffs and guidance on the Fed's policy path.
The price of gold in Egypt
Gold prices in Egypt rose on Wednesday after yesterday's slight declines,as the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt is now trading at yesterday's levels at 4670 pounds.
The price of 24-carat gold in Egypt also recorded levels of 5337 pounds, while 18-carat gold is trading at levels of 4003 pounds per gram.
On the other hand, the price of the dollar issued today in Egypt has fallen to the levels of 49.60 pounds, and the dollar price inside the official banks in Egypt has fallen to the levels of 49.58 pounds, and the dollar price in the black market has fallen to the levels of 49.86 pounds.
