Gold prices fell strongly today to below 3300 dollars per ounce, ahead of strong US data today.
The gold price is having difficulty attracting buyers, and is trading below USD 3,300 in the European session on Wednesday, specifically at USD 3,275 per ounce, as indicators of the easing of trade tensions between the United States and China continue to undermine safe haven assets.
Key GDP data and personal consumption expenditures inflation coming out of the United States could lead to a significant move in precious metal prices today.
The price of gold in Egypt
Gold prices in Egypt fell on Wednesday, as the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt is now trading at levels of 4725 pounds.
The price of 24-carat gold in Egypt also recorded levels of 5400 pounds, while 18-carat gold is trading at levels of 4050 pounds per gram.
On the other hand, the price of the dollar issued in Egypt rose today to the levels of 51.30 pounds, while the price of the dollar inside the official banks inside Egypt rose slightly to the levels of 50.92 pounds, and also the price of the dollar in the black market rose from the levels of 51.20 pounds.
