The price of gold in Egypt Today, Tuesday, March 25, 2025
The global price of gold
Gold prices rose on Tuesday near the levels of 3020 dollars per ounce, after a slight wave of selling in yesterday's session on Monday, where gold witnessed minor selling in yesterday's session while stocks rose as market sentiment improved and demand for safe haven decreased.
This reflects hopes that the next wave of US tariffs, expected to be imposed on April 2, will be more targeted and moderate than previously thought.
Trump is still threatening to impose 25% tariffs on any country that buys Venezuelan oil, and there is still a lot of uncertainty, which keeps the price of gold at a lower level.
Gold prices are expected to remain supported above the key psychological level at USD 3,000, as traders are likely to view any declines as good buying opportunities.
