The global price of gold

Gold prices fell today during Tuesday's trading, with prices hovering near 2640 dollars per ounce.

The Fed is expected to implement a 25 basis point interest rate cut, but there is still uncertainty about the extent of future easing, especially with the likelihood of higher inflation under the next Trump administration.

Recent data showed that US private sector activity grew at a faster pace in December, suggesting that the Fed may limit interest rate cuts next year, which could weaken demand for the precious metal.

The price of gold in Egypt

On the other hand, the price of gold in Egypt declined on Tuesday, as the price of the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt is trading near the levels of 3795 pounds.

The price of 24-karat gold also fell today at levels of 4337 pounds, while 18-karat gold recorded levels of 3253 pounds per gram.

The price of the goldsmith's dollar in Egypt is also trading near the levels of 51.10 pounds, while the dollar price inside official banks rose slightly today to reach the levels of 50.89 pounds, while the dollar price in the parallel market inside Egypt was fixed at the levels of 51.15 pounds.
