The global price of gold
Gold prices rose globally during today's trading on Tuesday for the second day in a row, as gold futures settled at 2685.90 dollars per ounce.
Gold is supported by renewed optimism about financial stimulus from China and safe-haven demand amid geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and Europe.
The market is also pricing in an 89.5% chance of an interest rate cut by the US Federal Reserve by 25 basis points next week.
The price of gold in Egypt
On the other hand, the price of gold in Egypt rose on Tuesday, as the price of the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt is trading near the levels of 3780 pounds.
The price of 24-karat gold is also trading today at levels of 4320 pounds, while 18-karat gold recorded levels of 3240 pounds per gram.
The price of the goldsmith's dollar in Egypt is trading near the levels of 50.40 pounds, while the dollar price inside official banks declined today to reach the levels of 50.55 pounds, and the dollar price in the parallel market inside Egypt rose to the levels of 51 pounds.
