Gold's record high continues as US tariff fears boost safe haven demand, with the precious metal hitting an all-time high of USD 3,148.88 earlier on Tuesday.
Goldman Sachs also raised the probability of an economic recession in the United States from 20% to 35%, said that it expects further interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve, non-yielding bullion thrives in a low interest rate environment.
Technical forecasts indicate that some corrective pullback will occur after reaching the upper limit of the ascending price channel on the four-hour frame, before climbing again and achieving new highs.

Gold prices in Egypt rose strongly on Tuesday, as the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt is trading at levels of 4433 pounds.
The price of 24-carat gold in Egypt also recorded levels of 5066 pounds, while 18-carat gold is trading at levels of 3800 pounds per gram.
The dollar prices in Egypt have not moved since the end of last week's trading, as the price of the goldsmith's dollar in Egypt is trading today at the levels of 50.30 pounds, the dollar price is also trading inside the official banks in Egypt at the levels of 50.62 pounds, while the dollar price is centered in the black market inside Egypt at the levels of 50.88 pounds.
