The global price of gold  

Gold prices fell slightly during Thursday's trading, but they remain high due to geopolitical tensions and optimism of an interest rate cut in the United States, which the markets are currently pricing in by more than 98% over the next week by 25 basis points.

Also today we are waiting for the interest rate cut for the euro currency by 25 basis points.

As most central banks continue to ease policy, which will support gold in the medium and long term, especially if geopolitical tensions worsen next year, and then investors may resort to gold as a safe haven as usual.

The price of gold in Egypt  

On the other hand, the price of gold in Egypt rose today, Thursday, as the price of the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt is trading near the levels of 3873 pounds.

The price of 24-karat gold also rose today at levels of 4426 pounds, while 18-karat gold recorded levels of 3320 pounds per gram.

Also, the price of the goldsmith dollar in Egypt rose near the levels of 50.80 pounds, while the dollar price inside official banks rose today to reach the levels of 50.87 pounds, and the dollar price in the parallel market inside Egypt did not move from the levels of 51 pounds.
