World gold prices rose slightly during today's trading on Monday near the levels of 2505 dollars per ounce, after they retreated at the beginning of the Asian session near the levels of 2490 dollars per ounce, as prices are still trading near the historical peak at the levels of 2531.50 dollars per ounce, and any breakthrough of this historical peak by closing higher I think we can target the levels of 2550/60 dollars per ounce.
On the other hand, gold prices in Egypt did not move much today, as the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt on Monday, September 2, recorded slight declines near the levels of 3440 pounds to buy.
We believe that the decline in the price of gold in Egypt is a result of the decline in the dollar locally.
The price of the dollar in Egypt within the official banks fell to the levels of 48.63 pounds per dollar, and the price of the dollar in the parallel market inside Egypt also fell near the levels of 48.89 pounds per dollar.
