Gold prices rose globally during the Asian trading period today, Monday, November 4, the precious metal prices are currently at the highest levels of 2740 dollars per ounce after falling for two consecutive sessions.

The focus this week will be on the US presidential election scheduled for Tuesday and then the Fed's decision next Thursday.

Speculation has been prompted that if Donald Trump wins, he will fuel this inflation through expansionary fiscal policies and high tariffs, so investors have recently kept gold as a kind of hedge against long-term inflation risks.

On the other hand, gold prices in Egypt rose on Monday, with the 21st highest traded gold price in Egypt trading near the levels of 3790 pounds.

The price of 24-karat gold also rose today to levels of 4331 pounds, and 18-karat gold recorded levels of 3249 pounds per gram.

The dollar price in Egypt also rose within the official banks on Friday to trade near the levels of 49.12 pounds, with the dollar price also rising in the parallel market inside Egypt to the levels of 49.36 pounds.
