Gold prices rose on Monday to the levels of 2,995 dollars per ounce, and is now trading near its all-time high near the levels of 3,005 dollars per ounce last Friday, where gold broke the barrier of 3,000 dollars per ounce for the first time, as investors continue to seek safe haven tools in the face of the escalating trade war.
New geopolitical risks also boosted gold prices after the United States announced that it would continue its strikes against Yemen under the pretext of their attacks on cargo ships in the Red Sea.

On the other hand, gold prices rose in Egypt on Friday, and the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt recorded new levels at 4220 pounds.
The price of 24-carat gold in Egypt also recorded levels of 4823 pounds, while 18-carat gold is trading at levels of 3617 pounds per gram.
The price of the goldsmith's dollar in Egypt is trading today at the levels of 50.10 pounds, while the dollar price inside the official banks in Egypt fell today at the levels of 50.59 pounds, with a slight decline also for the dollar price on the black market inside Egypt to the levels of 50.96 pounds.
