The global price of gold
Gold prices fell during today's trading on Monday to reach the levels of 2610 dollars per ounce, but they are still stable and trading in a tight range during the holiday period.
Fed Chairman Jerome Powell said earlier this month that US central bank officials would be cautious about further cuts after cutting the interest rate by a quarter of a percentage point as expected in December.
Gold has risen strongly this year, reaching its highs in 2024 by about 27% so far, reaching an all-time high of 2790 dollars on October 31.

On the other hand, trading on Monday in the range is still very tight due to the market holidays and international holidays, as the price of 21-karat gold, the highest traded in Egypt, is still trading near the levels of 3725 pounds.
The price of 24-karat gold in Egypt also recorded levels of 4257 pounds today, 18-karat gold is also trading at levels of 3193 pounds per gram.
The price of the goldsmith dollar in Egypt also recorded levels of 50.60 pounds today, and the dollar price inside the official banks declined today to trade near the levels of 50.91 pounds, but the dollar price in the parallel market inside Egypt declined slightly to reach near the levels of 51.20 pounds.
