Gold prices in Egypt Today, Monday, August 26, 2024

World gold prices rose during today's trading Monday near the levels of 2525 dollars per ounce again, approaching the historic peak achieved last week at the levels of 2531.50 dollars per ounce, especially after the speech of Fed Chairman Jerome Powell on Friday in which he said it was time to adjust monetary policy, adding that the timing and pace of interest rate cuts will depend on incoming data, evolving expectations, and the balance of risks.

On the other hand, gold prices in Egypt rose today, Monday, August 26, as the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt recorded levels of 3475 pounds to buy this morning, and we are still looking forward to further ascent.

The price of the dollar in Egypt within the official banks recorded some slight rises to the levels of 49.85 pounds per dollar, and the price of the dollar in the parallel market inside Egypt also declined slightly to the levels of 49.10 pounds per dollar.
