The global price of gold
Gold prices stabilized at a low of 3300 dollars per ounce, down by almost 5.5% from its record peak of 3500 dollars, as the precious metal remains below its record levels as markets await good news about the US-China tariff talks, as the demand for safe haven assets declined due to hopes of easing trade tensions between the United States and China.
In the absence of a clear decision on trade talks, traders are reluctant to push gold prices into new territory without stronger reasons for rising.
The price of gold in Egypt
Gold prices in Egypt fell on Monday, as the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt is now trading at levels of 4740 pounds.
The price of 24-carat gold in Egypt also recorded levels of 5417 pounds, while 18-carat gold is trading at levels of 4063 pounds per gram.
On the other hand, the price of the dollar minted in Egypt fell at the levels of 51.40 pounds, while the dollar rate inside the official banks inside Egypt fell at the levels of 50.90 pounds, and the dollar rate in the black market also fell from the levels of 51.16 pounds.
