Gold prices in Egypt Today, Friday, October 18, 2024

Gold rose globally today, Friday, October 18, for the fourth day in a row, achieving new historical peaks, as it was able to break through the psychological barrier levels of 2700 dollars per ounce down to the levels of 2715 countries, and we still expect further ascent in the coming period.

Gold bulls are gaining strength, with uncertainty about the US economic outlook, as uncertain election prospects, easing central bank policies, and tensions in the Middle East contributed to the strong rise in bullion prices in general.

On the other hand, gold prices in Egypt rose strongly on Friday, with the 21st highest traded gold price in Egypt trading near the levels of 3663 pounds.

The price of 24-karat gold also rose today to levels of 4186 pounds, and 18-karat gold recorded levels of 3140 pounds per gram.

It is worth mentioning that the dollar rate in Egypt within the official banks did not move much today, as it fell to the levels of 48.69 pounds per dollar, with a decline in the dollar rate in the parallel market inside Egypt to the levels of 48.95 pounds per dollar.
