The global price of gold

Gold rose by more than 1% during the week, setting a record high on Thursday, and despite the decline in gold prices during the Asian trading period on Friday, but rebounded upwards again to the levels of 2935 dollars per share near its record levels, and on the verge of making gains for the eighth week in a row, as safe haven demand remained strong amid concerns about US President Donald Trump's tariff plans.

Market participants are also looking for clues on the Fed's interest rate path, given that Trump's policies are considered inflationary.

The price of gold in Egypt

On the other hand, gold prices in Egypt fell on Friday, as the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt recorded levels of 4135 pounds.

The price of 24-carat gold in Egypt also recorded levels of 4726 pounds, while 18-carat gold is trading at levels of 3544 pounds per gram.

The goldsmith dollar is still trading at the levels of 50.20 pounds since the beginning of the week, but the dollar price inside official banks declined today to the levels of 50.62 pounds, and the dollar price on the black market inside Egypt also declined to the levels of 50.87 pounds.
