Gold prices rose during trading on Friday near the levels of 2635 dollars per ounce, after coming under renewed pressure due to the more cautious stance of Fed Chairman Jerome Powell on interest rate cuts.
However, the strong jobs data released now from the US economy may lead to some declines for gold in the coming period.
The probability of a December interest rate cut also increased by 25 basis points to 87% from 70% after the jobs data.
The price of gold in Egypt
On the other hand, the price of gold in Egypt rose today, Friday, where the price of the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt is trading near the levels of 3690 pounds.
The price of 24-karat gold is also trading today at levels of 4217 pounds, while 18-karat gold recorded levels of 3163 pounds per gram.
The price of the goldsmith's dollar in Egypt also rose near the levels of 49.80 pounds, the dollar price inside official banks rose today to exceed the levels of 50 pounds and specifically up to 50.05 pounds, and the dollar price in the parallel market inside Egypt also rose to the levels of 50.30 pounds.
