World gold prices rose during today's trading on Friday near the levels of 2526 dollars per ounce, after yesterday's declines again near the levels of 2504 dollars per ounce, as prices corrected yesterday as we expected, but we are still trading near the historical peak at the levels of 2531.50 dollars per ounce, and any breakthrough of this historical peak by closing higher I think we can target the levels of 2550/60 dollars per ounce.
On the other hand, gold prices in Egypt did not move today, Friday, August 31, as the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt recorded levels of 3455 pounds to buy in the morning, the same as yesterday's levels.
We believe that the stability of the gold price in Egypt is a result of the rise in the global gold price and the decline in the dollar locally.
The price of the dollar in Egypt within the official banks fell to the levels of 48.68 pounds per dollar, and the price of the dollar in the parallel market inside Egypt also fell near the levels of 48.93 pounds per dollar.
