Gold prices in Egypt Today, Friday, August 23, 2024

World gold prices rose during today's trading on Friday near the levels of 2500 dollars per ounce again, after falling yesterday and achieved a bottom close to the levels of 2470 dollars per ounce.

On Friday, markets are waiting for Fed Chairman Jerome Powell's speech at the Jackson Hole symposium, at which he may provide more insights on the outlook for interest rates.

On the other hand, gold prices rose in Egypt Today, Friday, August 23, as the 21st highest traded gold in Egypt recorded levels of 3465 pounds to buy this morning, and we are still looking for further ascent after yesterday's corrections.

The dollar price in Egypt within the official banks also recorded some declines down to the levels of 49.84 pounds per dollar, and the dollar price in the parallel market inside Egypt also declined slightly down to the levels of 49.09 pounds per dollar.
