The global price of gold
Gold prices fell near the levels of 3,300 dollars per ounce on Friday, as gold gave up its gains made in the previous session, after some reports were issued that China is considering halting tariffs on some US imports, reducing the attractiveness of the precious metal, and calming the trade war.
This comes after President Trump confirmed the continuation of trade talks with China, contradicting China's claims that no discussions have taken place.
Gold lost the gains of the previous session and is on track to record a weekly loss.
