Major European markets opened higher on Thursday, investors on the day watching the latest updates on the BRICS summit, reports on the possible death of Wagner Group founder Yevgeny Prigogen, as well as the Jackson Hole symposium today and as European markets opened France's CAC 40 index rose 0.95%, while the STMicroelectre index improved
Britain's FTSE 100 was also up 0.76% and Samsung Electronics was up 2.47%.
A minute later, Europe's Euro Stoxx 50 improved by 1.15%, and ASML Holding was leading the gains as it rose 2.67%.
Germany's DAX also rose 0.95%, with Infineon being the best performer at the opening, up 2.23%.
The highs follow gains made by Wall Street yesterday, with market shares currently leading, especially after Nevidia's earnings whose quarterly revenue beat expectations.
Nasdaq futures are also up 1.2% currently.
S&P 500 futures were also up 0.7% while Dow futures were up just 0.1% on the day.
