ECB Governing Council member Madis Muller said on Friday that he finds it difficult to predict how many interest rate cuts the ECB will make this year.
Muller stressed the importance of not yet predicting what will happen at the September monetary policy meeting, noting that we know that there are still fluctuations regarding inflation.
Speaking about the GDP of the eurozone, he said that the forecast looks a little weaker than it was a short time ago, but insisted that it should recover over the coming quarters.
Mueller's comments came after the ECB decided not to cut interest rates in July and left them as they are.
