ECB member Schnabel says if the data confirm the forecasts, the interest rate is likely to be cut

Speaking today, Isabelle Schnabel of the European Central Bank said :-

- If the data confirm the forecasts, then June is likely to fall.

- It is witnessing a slight recovery in the eurozone economy.

- Inflation is likely to return to 2% without a recession.
