October Sales Decline Pushes BYD Shares Down
Chinese automotive giant BYD announced a decline in sales for October,
with a drop of approximately 12%.
Total sales fell to approximately 429,808 units.
Following the release of the results, the company's shares fell by 3%.
A slight decline is expected to continue.
The weak sales are attributed to intense competition
in the Chinese domestic market,
with other giants like Tesla and others.
The most significant factor affecting the company
was the decline in sales of hybrid vehicles,
which fell by more than 30%, while sales of regular
electric vehicles rose by approximately 15%.
