Bitcoin rose during trading on Monday, March 11, to levels of $72,000, which are record levels for the most famous cryptocurrency around the world. Bitcoin recorded gains of 245% in the last 12 months.
Bitcoin jumped to more than $69,000 on March 5, at levels not seen in the cryptocurrency until that date. ETFs launched by companies such as BlackRock and Fidelity Investments have attracted more than $7 billion in net inflows since their launch in less than two months, which comes as an imminent decline in Bitcoin supply growth - known as the halving - approaches.
