AMD CEO's Remarks Send Shares Soaring

Shares of tech giant AMD rose on Wednesday

after AMD CEO Lisa Su stated

that the company believes the current market for AI data centers

 is expected to reach over $1 trillion in the near term.

The company also announced that it expects revenue growth of more than 60%

within approximately five years, reaching over $16 billion.

Following these remarks, AMD's stock surged before the market opened,

up by more than 5%.

AMD CFO Jan Hu also stated

that the company's total revenue is expected to increase by more than 35%,

with most of the profits expected to come from the data center sector.
