The British FTSE and the prospects for the next movement

Analysis of the British FTSE

At the economic level

The British FTSE index fell for the third day in a row, as UK stocks fell.

The FTSE 100 index fell more than 1% on Thursday, lagging behind European markets as investors reacted to weaker-than-expected corporate earnings.

On the technical side

The FTSE retreated on Thursday in an attempt to reach the uptrend levels for the four-hour frame, and if the uptrend breaks and closes the lows of 8610 by closing 4 hours, we expect further pullbacks of the indicator towards the 8450 levels as an initial target and then the 8100 levels.

This scenario fails if the trend breaks up again.
